Our recruitment and selection process for each job reflects what we need to know about you. Our recruitment team will make sure you’re given as much information about the assessment process as possible.

1. Application

Once you have applied to a job you’ll be asked to answer some questions around your circumstances and expectations. You may be contacted by one of our recruiters to discuss this further, for example, if you have a disability, or a condition that you believe may affect your performance during the application process. We will work with you to make any reasonable adjustments to ensure you have all the support you need ahead of an interview, and throughout the hiring and onboarding process.

2. CV/application review

Your application will be reviewed by our recruiters and hiring managers. We’ll be looking at your skills and experience against those required for the role. If you are not selected for interview we will let you know by email, we don’t always provide specific feedback at this stage but we’ll invite you to contact the recruiter if you’d like to discuss things further.

3. Interview

Once you’ve been selected for interview the recruiter will contact you to give you some additional information on the role and the process. You may be asked to attend interviews via telephone, video conference or in person. You may also be invited to take part in several stages with several stakeholders, the recruiter will explain this as it can vary from role to role. If you are unsuccessful following an interview the recruiter will contact you and invite you to discuss your feedback. We may also request your consent to add you to a talent pool for future opportunities.

4. Offer

The recruiter will contact you to confirm an offer, they will talk you through the terms of the offer including details of our benefits package. You may need some time to consider, the recruiter will arrange a follow up to ensure you have all the information you need to make your decision.

5. Onboarding

Following verbal acceptance of our offer we will send you a formal offer via email. As well as this we’ll send you an invitation from our background check provider, you’ll need to follow the steps and submit the checks promptly as these are required before we can confirm your start date. The screening process typically takes around 3 weeks, but this can fluctuate. The recruiter will provide guidance on this as part of the conversation to agree a provisional state date. Once your background checks are complete we will contact you to confirm, and to give you the details you need for your start with Quilter.
