Our impressive Southampton office is just a five-minute walk from Southampton Central train station and slap bang in the city centre. Visible from the train window in a prominent position at the top of the hill, people often know our offices for our famous Christmas lights – a tradition we’ve kept going for many years.
With the city’s many bus links stopping right outside or within a stone’s throw of our building, our location couldn’t be easier to access. The office is an easy commute by train with direct routes from Winchester, Bournemouth and Portsmouth, and London just an hour away. If you prefer to cycle or drive you’ll find secure, indoor bike storage and a large NCP car park next door with a discount and payment scheme available for Quilter staff.
Being in the city centre means there’s plenty to do in your lunch hour or free time. Southampton’s large green parks and impressive history are enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. The large and modern West Quay Shopping Centre, just a few hundred metres down the road, offers the best selection of shops in Hampshire, including John Lewis, the Apple Store and a brand-new Lego shop. Or if you’d prefer a view of the water, just head to Southampton’s prestigious Ocean Village marina.
If it’s true that an army marches on its stomach, food and drink is never far away for Quilter’s troops. Our in-house catering pods offer ‘proper’ tea and coffee from our own Barista as well as a range of snacks and sandwiches. If you prefer to pop out for a break, Southampton’s vast array of cafes, bars and restaurants are within a short walk for a quick lunch or a team night out.
Our ultra-modern Senator House office is in a great location, with St Pauls Cathedral around the corner and only five minutes’ walk from the river. You’ll find lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity as well as plenty of shops at Cheapside, just a three-minute walk away.
The office has fantastic transport links. Right in the centre of Mansion House and Blackfriars, it’s also located within five minutes of Bank and St Pauls tube stations, and the Thames River Boat.
With the latest, up-to-date technology and facilities, lots of natural light, and a good balance between desk space and informal areas to collaborate or take a break, Senator House is the perfect base for a thriving career in London.
