As part of our ongoing commitment to encourage everyone to be who they want to be at work, our colleagues have the option to add their pronouns to their email signatures. Having pronouns on our signatures can initiate the start of an open discussion about how people would like to be referred to, and it helps us in our aim of creating an inclusive working environment.

What are gender pronouns and why are they important?
Gender pronouns are words used to identify a person’s gender identity and a way for our colleagues to express their gender.
Pronouns are an important part of a person’s identity, and knowing and using a person’s correct pronoun is a way of showing respect, as well as helping to build an inclusive environment.
Below are some examples of pronouns:
- She/Her/Hers
- He/Him/His
- They/Them/Theirs
